Power Up Your Productivity

To Do List

Time is something we can play with to gain more of it. I can imagine you’ve got a lot to do this week as you’re moving into this year’s pace, so I’ll keep this short and sweet!  Today I want to super-charge you with a proven method to be able to get through your to-do list in a shorter space of time.

You might not get it all done in one day, I hear you, there’s so much to do, but you will get more done for sure!

Ready?

Go and grab your to-do list.

Have a look, how many times have you written…

  1. Phone client/printer/VA
[enter here who you need to speak to]

2. How many times have you written you’ll sort out x,y,z? What does sort out even mean?  Break it down.

What are the different stages that need to happen for you sort it all out? Identify the different steps.

3. What else do you need to do this week?… write a proposal/publish my blog/ start new client projects/ business development/social media.

And the list probably goes on!

So now, I’d like you to take a look at your list and group all the same ‘kind of activity’ together.

Then, do ONE group at a time.

All these different tasks take a different energy to complete.

So, if you’re going from one task to another and another, talking to your client, immediately emailing them after the call, to calling the next person, posting on Instagram, to phoning your client, to emailing them, to posting on LinkedIn, and you repeat this again and again throughout the day, like circular cleaning a house, you can end up hot and bothered after a few hours and still not see one room clean and free of dirty cups and piles of things!

Focus on ONE activity at a time and I bet you’ll have time to spare by the end of the week and feel fabulous.

Why wait? Get that Friday feeling by the end of today.

Focus!

Let’s go.

If you want to know more about how you can increase your productivity and make more from your talents and skills this year, book a Power Hour with me here and get clear on your next steps.

To your success and happiness.
