I’m back in London today for a couple of weeks for my face to face client work, after having just spent the last week unpacking loads of boxes of stuff in our new new home in Portugal. It’s been fun finding out what we’ve kept from the clear out we did when we packed up in March. Some things I’d totally forgotten we had, and some things I know I don’t need anymore. More sorting out is definitely needed! Did I really need to keep all that stuff in the first place?!

Have you got stuff that could do with sorting out, or clearing out?

Do you feel motivated and invigorated when you walk into your office, or does the sight of it drain you before you even start work?

Your environment is so key to your success. Your creative energy and focus depends on it and responds accordingly.

What does your desk look like today? Is it super tidy and organised? Or do you have a pile of business cards, meeting notes, or receipts that need entering into your database or excel sheet? Have you got lots of old papers or old marketing material stacked up waiting to be thrown out?

Having a good clear out is good for the soul! It’s cleansing, refreshing and eventually when it’s all done, is so up-lifting. Energy Up!

So, if your office could do with a good tidy up, take some time today or book some time in your diary over the next few weeks and treat yourself to a clear out.

If you’re office space is tidy, how about a desktop cleanse? How many documents do you have saved to your desktop? Can you see the picture behind all those icons?!

Save some time to sort out your online filing system. It will make searching much easier later. And give you a clear view at the beginning of the day. Bliss.

When you get rid of the old stifling things, you make way for new things to come into your life, and your business. I wonder what’s round the corner for you?

If you need help sorting out your home office to improve your energy levels and boost your productivity, just email me today and I’ll put you in touch with a couple of my Mastermind clients who’s businesses specialise in getting your office and systems super-organised over summer so you’re ready for September’s new flurry of activity.
