A Beautiful Source of Happiness and Giggles

Reading

I hope you’re enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend and doing exactly what you want to do.

If you’re in need of a new read, I’d love to introduce you to one of the most beautiful, soulful, insightful books I have ever read.

The Book of Joy – a conversation with The Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu.
Listening to their treasured moments together, talking of their journeys, humour, beloved friendship and their source of happiness. Keep your tissues handy, I cried about 4 times! Meditations are in the back of the book too.

Another reading gem for you today, is over on facebook. I’ve just found @PeterandJanenandmummytoo – posts from a woman about life with her two kids, hubby and dog. It’s absolutely hilarious. The thread is just as funny as her followers join in and tell their stories of dealing with kids. If you’re of a sensitive nature and don’t like swearing, step away, read something else! But if you don’t mind, again you need tissues, I cried laughing!!!

TOP TIP

I also noticed that the author of @peterandJaneandmummytoo posts at 6.31pm, every day.

Facebook loves consistency, which means posts will have more traction and reach to your followers. Something to keep in mind when you’re looking at when to post, and how often.

I’ll leave you to have a relaxing day, may it be filled with chocolate, ice-cream and giggles!

Remember my blog Stop and Eat The Carrots? I’ll raise a glass of Prosecco to you, for all your hard work so far this year. Cheers, you deserve it 🙂

To your success and happiness,

Jo James xx
