I’m celebrating!

I hope you’ve had a great summer and are now looking forward to making the most of September, the last month of Q3. So, let’s make it stand out for you and give you a push or a pull, which ever you prefer, to help you meet your Q3 goals.

Ten years ago when I owned my Recruitment Agency in the City, I used to run a team.  I do miss those days, it was such good fun.  When we were all back in September,  I used to surprise my consultants with incentives to help boost their energy levels and results!

Being in a competitive, playful mindset sure helps you win more sales.

Being in a worried mindset doesn’t usually help, does it?  I’m sure I wrote about that before!

But back to talking about playing, many of my clients call me their secret line manager, and I’d like to invite you today to play this…

Money talks!

First Monday of September, I used to stick a £20 note to my desk, and say, “you can gladly take it, it’s yours, as soon as you book a meeting with one of your Top 10 clients!”

  • What will you reward yourself today with when you book in a meeting with one of your Top 10 clients?

Vodka, JD or a bottle of Prosecco?

I used to put a bottle of Jack Daniels, on my desk and said: ” the first person to research and find 20 brand new contacts to explore and see if there’s a fit, it’s yours!”   Replace Jack Daniels with your favourite bottle of wine, or gin, but you get my drift!

Treat yourself to something, that at some point during the week, you’ll win!

Too easy?

If you think they are too easy a challenge, s-t-r-e-t-c-h yourself!

What target do you want to set yourself? Do you want to achieve an extra 10%, 20%, or  50% on TOP of what you originally had planned for Q3?  Go for it!

One consideration, please, make it fun!  Something to get you excited, motivated, or make you laugh.

Get in your successful mindset zone.

Take a trip down memory lane.

Remember all those other times you’ve had great success when crafting that email to your prospective client who replied immediately with YES?

Or do you remember calling that lead from someone in your network, and you converted the call from an enquiry to a new client?

Do you remember receiving a lovely testimonial from a client you loved working with?  Of course you do!

Remember that time with your besties, when you laughed real hard?

Stack those good memories, smile, and make it happen.

You can do it!

Imagine how you will feel once you’ve reached your goals at the end of September.  Start today.  You’ll feel much better and your business will thank you for it.
